Pharmacist stairs
Assignment: "Stairs in a limited space, in a 14 th century Dutch historical building, an eye catcher. "
The pharmacist background of the client a friend with many hobbies inspired me to design this stairs consisting of drawers. The light line that could be controlled per LED was a must for the client. The client loved to work together on designing as well as on building. Together we developed the rubber honney or benzene ring-like anti-slip insert.
Footnote: The client mentioned also "DNA" in the assignment. The first design with a DNA element in it was very very much appreciated but at that moment unfortunately not within budget.
